Families CCAN

Families CCAN is a non-profit organization that enables adults with disabilities and their families to live happy, full, independent lives.

Our goal for this site was to position Families CCAN as an authority in their field and to highlight the incredible connections and strength of their community, without sacrificing accessibility for their users. Thinking about accessibility, we focused on colors that create a high contrast between text and backgrounds. Additionally, we made sure that all images could be understood by screen readers, relying primarily on Squarespace gallery blocks that include rich alt text on each image.

Families CCAN has a small and dedicated team who knew they needed help to create the website they envisioned. This new website is the perfect foundation for their digital marketing strategy moving forward.
